In this study the writer attempts to connect the healing virtues to the mysteries and the religious spells and magic. The writer refers to forgotten fables, mainly from the Greek antiquity. Furthermore she introduces ways to use these pharmaceutical plants, that were also thought to be powerful magical herbs.
